Homeschoolers Day

Narellan will be hosting a Homeschoolers Day every second Friday of the school term. Children who are home schooled will have the opportunity to make new friends, access a greater range of resources and build a support network, thanks to Camden Council’s newest program. Homeschoolers Day Program, also aims to help home-schooled children develop interpersonal and social skills while meeting new people.

Children, who may suffer from severe social anxiety, will be able to make new friends in a safe space. Families who don’t have the same support and information available to them, compared to those in traditional schooling systems, will feel supported and connected.

 

Located in the Space at Narellan Library, on the following dates:

Due to current Social Distancing Practice, the Home Schoolers Group will be suspended until further notice.
